not a bad film, katie holmes excepted! what a relief, because i *love* nolan. and michael caine was superb. best alfred ever? i think we have a winner.
Yeah, I loved the movie. Nolan's finest hour was Memento; but this one's close. Caine definitely fit the role (shades of 'Man who would be King'), so did Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. No director before has ever taken such a close look at the beginning, & metamorphosis of the dark knight. I hope to God that, Nolan does a few more even with the one where Batman returns in Knightfall; outta retirement! Inspite of Bane breaking his back and paralyzing him...
