I discovered Peter Murphy today. His music is very dark and enchanting. Murphy sounds like an aging, weary vampire seeking his lost love while drowning in his lust for that last drop of salvation. Yet, his music is inspiring, his voice a soothing wave of gothic and industrial blend. No wonder he's called the godfather of goth. With sharp guitar licks, some keyboards wreaking havoc, lyrics that make you feel helpless and dark vocals, this album will grow on you.
