If inspiration and experimentation leads to the development of unique, variant styles of presentation, I can tell you that direct representation of the original surmounts to a sound that reflects the same fresh taste. If you take Black Sabbath’s Paranoid, Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin, shred up some Deep Purple’ Stormbringer and add a dash of Thin Lizzy’s Bad Reputation, you’d end up with the raw sound of Wolfmother.
