Batman Begins

Thanks to all the articles posted on IMDB as well as SuperheroHype, this movie promises to deliver! Christopher Nolan's (Memento) directing it and the cast is awesome. David Fincher refused to work on the project, while Wolfgang Petersen & Clint Eastwood were also considered. The movie seems to be a complete new look (no connection to the previous four helpings of Batman, courtesy Tim Burton & Joel Schumacher) at the life of Bruce Wayne & his search to avenge the brutal murder of his parents at the hands of Joe Chill (instead of Jack Napier/The Joker) in the 1989 version. A few things that've changed:

• Ra's Al-Ghul - A ninja cult leader, as opposed to the supreme being from the Lazarus pit?
• Commissioner Gordon - A younger, more fiercely developed character portrayed by Gary Oldman
